A temporary paraprofessional position is available at an elementary school located at 151 Northdale Blvd NW 3396, Minneapolis, MN 55448. This contract role runs from January 26, 2026, through June 5, 2026, working Monday through Friday for 32.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The paraprofessional will support students within an elementary school caseload and assist teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activities. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct instructional support to students under teacher guidance - Assist with classroom management and student supervision - Support individualized learning plans and accommodations - Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress - Collaborate with staff to promote a positive learning environment Qualifications: - Must be highly qualified according to Minnesota standards by meeting one of the following: Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam) or Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; diplomas alone are not accepted) - Experience working with elementary school students preferred - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly - Willingness to commit to the assigned site location at 151 Northdale Blvd NW 3396, Minneapolis Additional Information: - This is a contract role with the potential to transition to a direct hire position with the school district after 120 days - Candidates must submit either qualifying exam results or official transcripts with their application; submissions without proper documentation will not be considered This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a supportive educational setting and the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners.
