This opportunity seeks a skilled Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support within a K-12 public school setting located in Burnsville, MN. The position is a contracted role for the current school year, extending until June 5, 2026, with typical hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. Key responsibilities include case management for approximately 12 students spanning 8th to 10th grades and delivering specialized instruction in various math and study skills classes. Specific teaching assignments involve: 9th & 10th Grade Foundations of Math (Special Education classes) 11th & 12th Grade Foundations of Math (Special Education classes) High School Functional/Study Skills (Special Education class) High School Math Resource, incorporating both push-in and pull-out support during general education math classes Qualified candidates will possess a current Tier 3 or 4 Special Education license. Applicants holding a Tier 1 or 2 license with substantial classroom experience and strong professional references may also be considered.
