Department Overview
We are hiring a full time Clinical Social Worker to join our
Children's MN Social Work Department, Minneapolis Campus, to
provide clinical care and services within our Cancer and Blood
Disorders clinic and inpatient areas. This role is also a part of
our larger Oncology Team including ambulatory care,
medical/surgical care area, and our pediatric intensive care unit.
This social worker provides bereavement support during end of life,
when needed. Our robust, energetic, and resourceful teams are
rooted in health equity and trauma informed care, serving a vast
range of patients at various stages of their medical journey.
Position Summary
To provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and
resource mobilization for families and children who have complex
psycho-social and emotional needs in a multi-disciplinary pediatric
hospital, clinic, and homecare setting. Pediatric social workers
provide these services to children 0-18 years of age and their
families.
Minnesota State LGSW, LICSW preferred . Master's degree in Social
Work. Knowledge of Community Resources. Experience providing crisis
intervention. Two years' experience with counseling in a health
care related setting or two years' experience in a pediatric
related setting or completion of graduate internship in either of
the above settings. This position will bill for services.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on
salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or
national market. When determining individual pay rates, we
carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not
limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills,
education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate,
internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for
medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be
eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
