Job Description:
The Clinical Team Leader works full-time night shifts on a
rotating schedule, serving as a charge nurse to provide direct
patient care and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
Requirements include BSN from an accredited school, current RN
license in Texas or a compact license, and completion of charge
nurse training within 90 days if external hire. Clinical
certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are necessary, with
advanced specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, CEN, RNC) expected
within two years. Responsibilities involve leading and
decision-making for staff, developing staffing plans based on
patient acuity, monitoring workflow, coordinating patient flow, and
supporting quality and organizational goals. Additional duties
include participating in process improvements, peer interviews,
employee evaluations, and incident investigations. The hospital is
a recognized, award-winning facility with specialized units and
comprehensive care programs.
