Job Title: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:00 - 15:30); 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:00) Experience: 1 year minimum required License: Valid WI License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Graduate from a surgical tech program or military equivalent - Call required: Late shift from 07:00 to 17:00; Call shift from 07:00 to 19:00 - Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only Description: This position involves variable days. Shifts will be from 07:00 to 15:30 or 07:00 to 17:00. On-call duties are required. There is no weekend call currently; this is subject to change. Candidates will float within the facility as needed. Compliance requirements must be completed promptly. Timely completion of labs and appointments is necessary to avoid cancellation. Two references are required; one must be from a supervisor. AHA certifications are required before starting. Candidates are expected to plan ahead to avoid scheduling conflicts. Bedside shift reporting and hourly rounding are required for all units.
