System One is actively seeking a Video Content Creator for a
contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.

The Video Content Creator will be part of the content marketing
team, which is experiencing growing demand for video content. The
team is tasked with content creation, including shooting video in
the field and studio, video storytelling, and executive messaging.
This role will supplement the team by providing additional
expertise in video production, including editing. The person will
be responsible for all aspects of video production, from shooting
to editing, and will work on both internal and external brand
projects.
Video Content Creator Responsibilities: A typical day involves
sitting in on marketing meetings, managing files, archiving videos,
organizing projects, and handling requests for archived videos and
photos
This role requires staying close to project management and
deadlines, working solo while being part of a larger team, and
ensuring deadlines are met.
Daily tasks include meetings, project management, file
organization, video editing, equipment upkeep, shoot days, studio
operations, tweaking lighting and camera settings, and general
studio maintenance.
Involves assisting with key marketing campaigns, corporate
marketing experience, producing rapid response content for power
outages, and staying up to date with video trends.
Video Content Creator Requirements: Editing/provide expert-level
editing skills
Assist in planning and scheduling video shoots
Set up and test equipment before shoots
Operate camera, lighting, and sound equipment during shoots
Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software
Organize and maintain video files and equipment
Create graphics and animations for video content
Perform basic troubleshooting to solve technical issues during
shoots
Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best
practice
Preferred candidates have 5-7 years of experience, but the manager
is open to someone with less experience who has a strong portfolio,
such as YouTube experience.
Candidates should submit a demo reel or portfolio.
Requires an eye for video production and experience in freelancing
or corporate video.
5-7 years of video editing experience.
5-7 experience of production process and studio operations,
including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other editing
software, as well as familiarity with both MAC and PC
platforms.
Professionalism is crucial, especially when working in settings
with leaders and executives, necessitating strong verbal and
written communication skills to ensure clear and effective
interactions with top executives and other key stakeholders.
Self-motivation and organizational skills are also essential for
this role.
Capable of working independently while also being a team player,
demonstrating strong organizational abilities, including efficient
management and archiving video clips.
Studio leader or manager mentality is important, as the candidate
will oversee studio operations and maintain equipment.
Creative mindset is vital for bringing new ideas to the table and
contributing to the creative process.
Eye for the art of video production and be able to produce
high-quality content that aligns with the company's branding and
messaging.
Experience in freelancing and corporate video production is highly
valued.
Familiar with the demands of working in a large, matrixed corporate
environment and be able to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the
role.
Drone certification is a bonus.

Contract Duration: 6-Months
Hourly Pay Rate: $32.00
