Job Description:
Job Summary:The Vice President, Sales is responsible for sales
and customer relationship strategy for Rembrandt Foods and Artisan
Kitchens, including business development of new products for both
businesses. This position requires critical leadership and
execution over the budgeting and forecasting process, in addition
to participation and leadership related to the company s strategic
planning process. In collaboration with the margin management team,
this position is responsible for optimizing the company s long-term
demand portfolio, execution of strategic pricing, and ensuring the
alignment of the egg desk, as well as special projects as
identified and requested from time to time.Duties and
Responsibilities:Lead the development of sales strategyRefine
simple, trackable metricsContinue to develop tools and training to
enable our team with the proper tools to win in the marketplaces we
target.Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy:Define
target markets and customer segments for the new productEstablish
pricing models and sales collateralDevelop and execute effective
sales and marketing campaignsOversee the sales pipeline and manage
key customer relationshipsAchieve and exceed revenue targets for
new product linesBusiness DevelopmentOriginate and manage business
development opportunities that are consistent with the company s
strategy for revenue growth for entrance into new categoriesDevelop
and oversee marketing and research and development, to support new
products, as well as the existing businessBuild and manage
high-performing sales team:Recruit, hire, and onboard talented
sales representatives.Provide ongoing coaching and development to
the sales team.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales
culture. Commercial leadership in process of short and long-term
planning of demand, supply, capacity, and inventory levels to
maximize business profitabilityRepresent commercial needs with Egg
Desk in any co-manufacturing agreements that optimize input costs
or mitigate riskAccountable for the sales forecast and its
representation in short- and long-term planning
discussions.Supports sales inputs into new capital projects to
prioritize the most meaningful investments to maintain and grow the
top and bottom lineRequired QualificationsBachelor s Degree in
related field (or 10 years of equivalent experience)Minimum of 10
years of progressively responsible and related sales
experienceAdvanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft
applicationsUp to 35% travelValid Driver s license in good
standingPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in the
agriculture industry in a manufacturing-based environmentDeep
market expertiseExperience working in cross-functional teamsStrong
communication skills; capable of presenting complex financial
information in an easy-to-understand formatAbility to think
creatively and develop non-traditional solutions to complex
business challengesStrong leadership and communication
skillsDemonstrated ability to build long lasting, value-added
relationships with customers, with the ability to present
effectivelyAbility to implement, business process changes and drive
continuous improvementThe ability to negotiate, analyze and
prioritize in a face-paced environment
