We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide respite care for a young girl. In this 1:1 role, you will focus on ensuring safety, offering supervision, and assisting with daily living skills in a nurturing and supportive environment. This part-time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive difference while engaging in fun and developmental activities with the child.Compensation:$17.66 per hour/$256.00 daily rate (over 8 hours)Schedule:Monday - Thursday from 2:30p - 5p while she's in summer schoolMid July & August would be Monday - Thursday 8a - 5p.Care Provided in the community and provider's home.Responsibilities:Ability to set firm boundaries that are healthy and beneficial to the child and manage behaviorsProvide 1:1 safety supervision and support based on the child’s individual needsAssist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, hygiene routines, and basic household choresEngage the child in age-appropriate activities that promote social and emotional growthBuild a positive, supportive relationship with the child, helping to foster independence and confidenceMaintain open communication with the child’s parents or guardians, reporting on progress and any concernsSkills & Qualifications:Previous experience working with children 1:1Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to follow customized care plans and adapt to the child’s unique needsRequirements:Preference of experience working with children with disabilities or special needsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for positionAbility to pass a criminal/caregiver background checkExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFor questions or other inquiries, feel free to email us at cdwibrokers@consumerdirectcare.comFor more opportunities, visit our Facebook Page:CDWI FacebookYou can also complete this form to be contacted regarding other opportunities in your area:https://forms.office.com/r/bNA70UHRTF *If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record.
