Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available
within a center-based behavior program serving students with
intensive behavioral support needs. This role is designed for
educators skilled in behavior management and reintegration
strategies for diverse learners in grades primarily 2nd through
5th, with potential inclusion of kindergarten students. The teacher
will work closely with a dedicated team in a high staff-to-student
ratio environment to support a caseload of 10 students. Location:
Anoka, MN Grade Levels: Primarily 2nd5th grade (K5 as new students
enter) Setting: Center-based classroom with reintegration into
mainstream classes during the day Duration: Contract, CSY (Current
School Year) Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction
tailored to students with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Other
Health Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Blind/Visually
Impaired needs. Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) focusing on behavioral and academic goals. Support
students in reintegration into general education settings
throughout the day. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
including seven Educational Assistants assigned to the program.
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom
environment that fosters student growth and development. Monitor
student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education.
Valid Minnesota State Special Education teaching license.
Experience working with students requiring intensive behavioral
